Doha, Qatar – March 2017 — In a strategic move that underscores its growing role in Qatar’s exhibition industry, IFP Qatar has announced its partnership with the Ministry of Municipality to organize the 2017 edition of the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ), set to take place from March 22 to 25 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
The exhibition, now in its early stages of development, is designed to become a key platform for showcasing Qatar’s agricultural advancements and reinforcing national food security objectives. Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, AgriteQ 2017 is expected to provide a significant boost to Qatar’s thriving agricultural sector by connecting government bodies, local producers, and international technology providers.
This marks a pivotal milestone for IFP Qatar, which continues to strengthen its profile as a leading organizer of high-impact trade exhibitions that align with national development goals. By partnering with the Ministry of Municipality on AgriteQ, IFP Qatar is playing a direct role in supporting the country’s ambitions to build a sustainable, self-reliant agricultural system.
“AgriteQ represents a major opportunity to bring together key stakeholders to exchange expertise, showcase innovations, and build long-term partnerships that support Qatar’s agricultural vision,” said a representative from IFP Qatar. “We are proud to collaborate with the Ministry of Municipality on this national priority.”
Through this initiative, IFP Qatar not only reinforces its commitment to diversifying Qatar’s event landscape but also lays the groundwork for AgriteQ to evolve into one of the region’s leading platforms for agricultural innovation and investment.
As Qatar accelerates efforts to secure its food systems and promote sustainability, exhibitions like AgriteQ are expected to play an increasingly strategic role in attracting global knowledge and encouraging private sector participation in the country’s agricultural transformation.
